Danielle Steel has a flair with words that no other writer of her time has. She is always high on emotional quotient and rarely does she divulge in the nitty-gritties. With the book title “Irresistible Forces” you might be swayed to believed that it has something to do with romance, well, on a surface it does; but then again it is one of the most pragmatic tales woven by the author.
Life shared by Meredith and Steve is much like a normal New Yorker’s but gradually Fate manipulates and forces start pulling them apart. Unimaginable things happen which suppresses their relationship to no bound. Often seen as a jolly couple arguements and lashing out becomes a part of their life.
For those who are immune to emotions, practicality of the story will appease you. And those of you who are highly emotional, you might want to reach out to the two characters, especially Steve. All in all, this one turned out to be a page turner for me, irresistible.
So is this book for keeps? Maybe. If you like to reread your books and happen to take to this one, you might want to keep it in your collection.
On the scale of readability, I rate it 8 on 10.
How much rating will I give this one? 3.5 out of 5 stars.
