The very first lesson that I learnt in my life was Honesty that I picked up from my father. I must have been 2-3 years old when I got the first beatings of my life for being dishonest. It so happened that like every child I too wanted to eat candy floss but when denied by parents I tried to flick money from my father’s wallet and then had to face music. Just one rupee taught me the greatest life lesson.

My father was an honest man and he hated those who were dishonest. In fact he resigned from Police solely because of this virtue. Once while on duty he went to a paan tapri to collect hafta for his senior. Next day he went to the same tapri in civil dress when he heard something that didn’t fit his ideals and he quit his job. The paanwala had said, ” Policemen take bribes, their families can never live in peace…”

Baba had proven his prowess through his punches and so, despite being newly wed, he gave up the job which  forced him to do dishonest tasks. Within 15 days he received a call letter from Western Railway because he was about to create history….
