Hi guys,

So I have given you all a #DIY lip balm in one of my blog posts. Here is a quick review of the lip balms I possess.

Vaadi Herbals Blueberry
I tried Vaadi herbals because it was pocket friendly but it turned out to be a tad disappointing. The blueberry I just a perfume and quite mild at that. Had it retained the blueberry flavor it would have been a delight. It has a miniscule blue tint. In terms of moisturizing it does know it’s job well. Vaadi products are affordable and lip balms have a lot of unique flavors. I certainly wish to try out their mint flavor.

The Body Shop Vitamin E

This one from The Body Shop contains no flavors. It is solely a moisture lock lip care with Vitamin E and SPF 15 PA++. Use it before applying your lipsticks and it is also perfect for your night routine.

The Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry

Born lippy strawberry from TBS is a feel good product. It moistures your lips giving it a light red shiny tint. Alongside, the essence of strawberry acts as a mood rejuvenator.

The Body Shop Born Lippy Satsuma Shimmer

Yes, shimmer imparts a golden glow to your lips. It has lemony-orangy flavor which is so alluring that I have finished half of this product! In terms of moisturizing your lips, it does works much like its counterpart.

Patanjali Lip Balm Strawberry

I had heard so much about this product from Patanjali that I couldn’t resist buying one. In a review someone wrote it smells like stale ghee but it isn’t so guys. It smells strawberries and despite not being a high-end product it does the job of a lip balm exceptionally well.

Nivea Care & Colour Red

Nivea has been a class apart when it comes to its skin care range. I have tried a regular lip balm from Nivea as well as the fruity shine and I loved them. This one from Nivea acts like a gloss. The colour red leaves a nice shine and tint on your lips. It is highly pigmented.

Avon Naturals Strawberry

I have been using this product since a year and it is amazing in terms of moisturizing. It does retain strawberry flavor but excess application can cause the product to stick to your teeth and irritate you.

Maybelline Baby Lips Electropop Berry Bomb

I have wanted to try this product desperately. So much was the buzz surrounding this series post it’s launch that it became impossible not to try it. And it does live up to your expectations. Leaving a tad bluish tint on your lips.

Maybelline Baby Lips Peach Bloom

It sure blooms gradually after application. It gives a nice shine to your lips and retains the moisture. And no, it doesn’t have a peachy taste, just the colour.

Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow Orange

All the products from varied ranges of Maybelline Baby Lips have a charm of its own. Candy Wow doesn’t give out an orangy flavor but has orange essence, zest which makes it alluring. This one from Maybelline is so pigmented that you need not use a lipstick. The colour will suit the Indian skin tones, hands down .

Maybelline Baby Lips Spicy Cinnamon

Being upfront, the aftertaste of Spicy Cinnamon is not all that great. It makes you feel good initially but irritates later with its excessively moistening texture. Yes, it is highly pigmented and acts like a lipstick.

Lip balms are essential in everyday makeup, so beginners make sure you have one!
