The next in the A Court Of Thorns And Roses series by Sarah J Maas, A Court Of Mist And Fury, is an eye opener in the #ACOTAR world. .

Remember how Feyre has her happy ending? Well, it doesn’t last long. She is hit with one too many revelations during her first few months as an immortal in the land of legends and eternity. We get to know more about the family and the impending war towards the second half of the book. The book slowly progresses towards action. 626 pages taking you one step at a time while your mind explores the world of faeries. I felt at some point that it was testing my patience or I feared of a reading slump. Considering the next book is around 700 pages I did do well with being patient in this one. 😅

The writing as always was delightful but what I felt could have been magically achieved was delayed like say the mortal queens handing over the Book for the benefit of the Prythian. Rhys could have just manipulated their mind in giving them the book but he patiently waited making the readers wait to. And then it hurt me when the city of Velaris was massacred. It hurt me to read about Azriel, Mor and Rhysand being tormented in the court of King Of Hybern. It hurt to see Feyre in pain when her sisters were pulled in this dirty game of throne!

What I most loved was the city of Velaris. I wanted to be there, stay there and even the cabin gave me a secure feeling. ♥️ What I loved the most was the cliffhanger. Let’s see what does the book 3 have in store for us.
